The roller came out

Finn is our only dog (since the date we adopted him... which was way more than a day after the passing of all of our other dogs).

After adopting Finn, I bought him a new leash; my father bought him more than a leash; AND we had more than one used leash.

Let me blog about the *NEW* leash from two years ago.  We can still use it but it's cage is scratched, dented... and no longer holds the leash and more.

I may have progressed too fast in my blogging of the status of leash. Set out below is a brief description in maybe point form format and categorized!

***
Made In: Germany

Type: Extendable (leash), (leash) Self-Retract to Cage with slanted handle, brake button on top and a roller inside ;)... (leash) has metal head with locking mechanism

Status: Real... way ahead of anything you can imagine... broken but still usable and in good working condition.

A leash is a leash.  In the description above, I could not recall the length or width of the leash.  To some, perhaps that is the only description required. The cage and roller to some may be considered as ADD-ONs to a leash.  I also cannot recall the materials of the leash, perhaps lylon or that "thingy" ;)...  let me look at the makers description again as I still have the original packaging.  I just checked and the material of the leash was not printed on the packaging I still possess; however, the leash can handle dog up to 50 kg and the word "tape" was used in the makers' three short words.

After being dropped on the ground many times, the leash finally came apart and the leash is no longer in the brake chamber.

You must be wondering.. how ??

Well, Finn is a big boy and he is young and curious and faster than your voice and/or hands sometimes!

You must be impatiently waiting for the specifics...

Well, I am unable to give you a complete picture as more than one person use the leash.  One fine day, my mother came home and the brake chamber was slightly opened.  I could neither open the gap nor close it.  The leash seemed fine to me and I continued to use it almost every single time I walk, jog and run with Finn! Yesterday morning, while visiting a graveyard near home, a bunny came hopping, Finn sprinted and the roller together with the leash came flying out of the cage!  Luckily I was surrounded by stones; Finn was caught almost immediately by a familiar name.  I was so relieved.  At least I don't have to run after him.  I was still holding the handle of the cage, Finn was still connected to the leash by the connector and the roller and leash was light so I don't think any stones were damaged severely.  It happened so fast and I just didn't and couldn't see any damage.

You want more?!?!

The stone remembering the deceased will have to tell you about the impact of catching leash with plastic roller connected to dog in action.

After the incident, I continued our walk and was glad I finally read a stone.  An gentleman older than me told me via video format in his capacity as a historian that it is alright to visit graveyards even if you do not know anyone buried there.  He also said to take your time and read if you feel like it. Because.. well I told you enough this morning already.  Even though the historian told me that I always feared that others may find it rude. I was thankful my dog was caught for me again yesterday morning during my reading. I was grateful for the incident.

I am going to continue to use the leash and make adjustments manually.  So far, I tied a knot.

Like I said we have other leash at home so it's no biggie.

My other dog from before broke off with the cage and i was left with just the handle.  You never know what wear and tear can do until the day it happens.  Thank you for all blessings.

The words in this post were all mine but after my self-edit, I now desire to check the dictionary for definitions of leash, grateful and biggie.
